Domaine Fabien Coche

A Legacy of Passion and Craftsmanship Fabien Coche represents the fourth generation of winemakers at the helm of the family estate. Spanning nearly 12 hectares across prestigious appellations such as Meursault, Pommard, Auxey-Duresses, Monthelie, Saint-Romain, Saint-Aubin, and Puligny-Montrachet, the domaine continues to embrace traditional winemaking methods to produce exceptional wines.

Committed to Organic Winemaking In line with its commitment to preserving the health and vitality of the soil, Domaine Fabien Coche began its conversion to organic viticulture with the 2020 harvest. This shift reflects a deep respect for the environment, ensuring that the land is nurtured for future generations while maintaining the estate’s signature quality.

A Rich Variety of Wines Domaine Fabien Coche offers both white and red wines from the renowned Côte de Beaune, and a Grand Cru from the Côte de Nuits. The estate cultivates three of Burgundy’s emblematic grape varieties: Chardonnay, Aligoté, and Pinot Noir. These grapes are harvested, aged, and bottled with the utmost care, showcasing the noble traditions of Burgundy’s finest wines.

A Family Tradition Since 1940 Founded in 1940 and previously known as Coche-Bizouard, Domaine Fabien Coche embodies the noble heritage of Burgundy’s winemaking traditions. Each step in the process—from vineyard management to aging and bottling—is executed with precision to guarantee wines of exceptional quality.

A New Chapter in Sustainability Located in Meursault, in the Côte d’Or (Burgundy), the estate has been dedicated to organic practices for several vintages, a commitment further solidified with the organic certification application starting from the 2020 harvest. This natural progression reflects Fabien Coche’s unwavering focus on environmental sustainability and his dedication to producing wines that honor both tradition and nature.

Expertise

At the Domaine, 40 distinct plots are farmed organically, respecting the environment. The average age of the vines is impressive here, with more than 60% of the vines being over 60 years old. The winemaker intervenes very little in the vinification of these wines, allowing the pure expression of the terroir. He uses very few new barrels, preferring vinification in large wooden vats.
