Bourgogne Côte d’Or Domaine Sylvain Dussort
Situation - Bourgogne Côte d’Or
Grape variety Pinot noir
Meursault owes its reputation to its prestigious white wines; however, a small amount of red wine is also produced due to its proximity to Volnay.
These vines, with an average age of 30 years, are partly located on this slope, in the areas known as 'les Durots' and 'Lameroses.'
Another plot, 'les Clous Perrons,' extends over silty soils and gravel.
Manual harvest.
100% de-stemming.
Fermentation in wooden tanks.
The harvested grapes are gently warmed to start fermentation (without pumping over) for about ten days.
Aging in tanks and on barrels (20%) on the lees for 12 months. One racking and cuvée unification in tanks for 2 months. Bottled in our cellars.
